台北人，畢業於台灣藝術大學電影研究所，目前為自由接案的導演與攝影師。

 

自學生時期開始從事影像創作，除了以自身經驗為題材，也包括對社會的觀察與反思。畢業後前往紐西蘭生活，這段經歷也對其創作帶來了不同文化的視角和靈感。

Kao Shih-Wen is a Taiwanese director and photographer.

Born in Taipei City, he began making films in college.

His first film, "Mother," was elected as the most popular film at the Taipei Image Award of the Taipei Film Festival in 2006.

He is currently studying at the Graduate School of Motion Pictures at the National Taiwan University of Arts.

He has extensive experience in filmmaking and has gained international experience in various countries such as China, France, Latvia, Bulgaria, Italy, and more.

His first solo photography exhibition was held in Taipei in 2014,

showcasing the French countryside atmosphere.
